My name is Kabura Mwangi, and I'll be entering my fourth year in Political Science at the University of Ottawa. Post-graduation, I'm hoping to enter law school and pursue a career as a lawyer.

I would define myself as career-driven, assertive, and passionate, especially involving the advocacy of advancing my community in the legal profession. I'm constantly looking for ways to challenge myself and I passionately believe that educating myself on new topics of conversation and controversy and having an open-minded approach is the best way to grow intellectually! I hold various leadership roles within the Kenyan and Black communities including establishing the Black Future Lawyers uOttawa chapter as their VP of Social Affairs. 

I am excited to be a part of such an amazing team at the Diversified Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada and to grow in my knowledge and passion for justice, and to further develop my skills as a writer and volunteer.
