Creating a rich pipeline of diverse neutrals for the next generation mediators and arbitrators is a priority for the DDRIOC team.Research shows that racialized and marginalized neutrals are less likely to be selected to mediate or arbitrate in Canada, based on lack of experience. Our internship has been carefully designed to ensure all our candidates are able to build on their education and experience through a tiered practical learning system. Following the completion of the internship, all qualified and DDRIOC approved candidates will join our diverse roster of neutrals.
