Behnam is a second-year law student at Osgoode Hall Law School. Before beginning his legal education, Behnam received a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University) and a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto. To pursue his passion for workplace law, Behnam Is currently working as a Summer Law Student at a leading employment law firm in Downtown Toronto.
His passion for Alternative Dispute Resolution was sparked during his tenure as a caseworker at Osgoode Mediation Clinic. In that role, Behnam assisted the clinic in reaching out to the broader community surrounding York University’s campus while conducting one-on-one conflict coaching sessions and administering workshops on conflict resolution and mediation training. Having immigrated to Canada from Iran nearly ten years ago, Behnam feels strongly about DDRIOC’s mission and has joined the team in an advisory role.
